Denise Pilcher

Denise Pilcher joined the Moneyworks team as a Paraplanner in March 2007.
Prior to that she spent 5 years in similar roles with two other financial planning companies.

Denise has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She has held both marketing and product management roles in the industry and has a sound knowledge of insurances, managed investments and personal superannuation. This industry experience has provided her with a strong background and excellent technical experience in financial and investment planning.

Denise completed the Massey University Diploma in Personal Financial Planning in 2001. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner. At present, she is working part-time and is studying extramurally toward a Bachelor of Business Studies, also through Massey University.

Married with two daughters at primary and secondary school, Denise has an understanding and particular interest in financial issues for families with children. She enjoys putting together comprehensive financial and investment plans for people, as well as monitoring and researching new investment opportunities.

In her spare time, Denise likes to keep fit through running, cycling, swimming and workouts at the gym. She has completed several half marathons, triathlons and mountain-biking events and is a member of the Olympic Harrier Club.
