Mereana Aranga

Mereana joined Moneyworks in April 2007 and currently works in the role of Office Assistant.

Mereana assists Karol with a wide range of client services queries and administration issues. This involves day to day processing of investments and insurance applications. She also handles daily incoming calls from clients, investment and insurance companies.

Before joining our team, Mereana was an at home mum to her young son Max. Prior to this, she traveled for 4 months on her O.E - through part of Europe and Australia where she spent most of this time in France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Canberra.

Before embarking on her O.E, Mereana was a supervisor at School Support Ltd in Christchurch, where she grew up. As a supervisor, she assisted other staff members in the daily processing of payroll for all primary and secondary state schools in the South Island. Mereana also dealt with queries from principals and teachers, the Government Super Fund queries and helping organise the annual Christmas and team building functions.

Mereana was part of the School Support team for 4 years. It is the experience and skills acquired from this job, which have provided her with good customer skills, efficient processing and time management skills.

At the moment she is kept busy with her young son and coaching a senior netball team. Three days a week she is committed to either netball training or game time with her team. She is also a bar manager for her club, Tongariro Sports, where she also volunteers many hours during the week helping organize events for her club or fundraising money for her netball team.
