Best Ethical Financial Adviser 2025 Winner

Although the criteria changed in 2025 from recognising a business to recognising an individual adviser, we were pleased to be awarded Best Ethical Financial Adviser again.

This was the third year we entered the awards, and the third time we were recognised.

The judges noted Carey Church’s commitment to thorough research and climate-aware advice, and the way ethical considerations are integrated throughout the advice process. They also highlighted Carey’s willingness to share knowledge and support others across the advice profession.

The award was shared with co-winner Rodger Spiller.

Best Ethical Financial Adviser 2024 Winner

Moneyworks was proud to be named Best Ethical Financial Adviser in 2024, for the second year running.

The judges commented on the depth of understanding of ethical and impact investing, and the strength of Moneyworks’ portfolio construction process, supported by thoughtful use of technology.

They also noted the way ethical considerations are integrated into the client experience, with a clear focus on outcomes rather than product selection.

Ongoing development of ethical practices, education, and transparency with clients were highlighted as strengths, alongside our commitment to community and B Corp principles.

We continue to refine our approach and build on this work.

Best Ethical Financial Adviser 2023 Winner

Moneyworks entered the Mindful Money Best Ethical Financial Adviser Awards in 2023 for the first time and was recognised as a winner, alongside Ethical Investing NZ.

Although the category had existed for several years, 2023 was the point at which we felt ready to put our work forward for assessment.

The award provided early external validation that our approach to ethical investing and client advice was sound, well-integrated, and aligned with our values.
